Babies Learn When They Play
Infant education experts report that babies learn whenever they are awake. When your infant is able, give your baby an empty paper towel roll or measuring cups and spoons to explore with tiny fingers. Let an infant rattle a safe, closed plastic container filled with beans. Don’t fill a supervised play space with too many objects. Educators suggest that, to avoid confusing your learning infant, limit items within his or her reach to only one or two items at a time.
