Let Your Toddler Be Your "Helper"
Being home with toddlers all day can be messy. Toddlers learn when they help you with simple chores. Ask your toddler to be a helper. “Will you be my helper when I set the table?” “Will you be my helper when we clean your room?” Research shows that asking a young toddler to be a helper (instead of just asking a child to help) is a better approach to encouraging young children to learn about independence and responsibility.
